Sea freight is a great option for large quantities of goods and it can be up to 6 times cheaper than moving the same load by air. If you have a large load and you’re not looking for the quickest option, sea freight can be the perfect solution. As a general rule, if it’s over 100kg, or you have multiple packages sea freight is often the best option.
This method of transportation offers multiple options, and can cater for frozen or refrigerated loads, goods which require very dry conditions and bulky or awkward loads.
As well as being more cost effective per load the duty and VAT are usually less expensive than air freight as well, because they are calculated as a percentage of the cost of goods plus the export cost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
